Property Description

This fully-furnished to a high standard property is located in the Borina (B) building of the well-known Garden of Eden resort and is situated on the ground floor giving this property immediate access to the wonderful garden are that this particular resort is noted for. The decor of the apartment is extremely modern yet cosy too thanks to the extensive use of wooden furnishings, ranging from the light-coloured wood-effect laminate flooring (thus easy to clean and maintain) as well as the beautiful darker wooden fully-fitted kitchen, to the wooden ding table plus matching chairs, along with similar matching coffee table and TV stand. Even the window and door frames have a lovely wooden touch to them to, right through to the wooden trellis covering the outside terrace area. This apartment has been clearly furnished with a lot of thought put into it, as our recent photographs show that even the dining chair seats are made from identical cloth to that covering the sofa and armchair. The TV area is extremely bright thanks to the large floor-to-ceiling window plus glass patio door leading to the lovely outside patio or terrace area which is fully-tiled, so perfect for dining al fresco either in the mornings or late-evenings. A nice feature enjoyed by this property is the inclusion of a separate utility room with hot water/boiler tank that also houses the washer/dryer machine. This is fantastic as this removes this particular (noisy) appliance away from the kitchen-cum-dining area. The kicthen, although compact and partially recessed from the rest of the main living area, is beautifully fitted with a cream/brown two-tone wooden effect along with contrasting wooden backsplash. There is a stainless steel sink, hob/oven and a discrete stainless steel extractor hood with fan. The kitchen also enjoys low-voltage recessed ceiling lights - perfect for night time. The flooring in the kicthen area is tiled. The fully-tiled bathroom is quite traditional with a black n' white style, easy to maintain and clean, plus it has the added benefit of a full bathtub which many holiday properties on the Black Sea coast do not have. Finally, we have the sleeping area - the bedroom with large twin/double beds with beautiful carved wooden headboards along with matching bedside lockers and even a large free-standing wooden closet with full-length vanity door mirror. This property is both very modern looking, tastefully furnished whilst retaining a very intimate and cosy ambience. It would serve as an ideal retreat for a couple or young family. Also, it ought to be noted that at this price point in this specific development, any prospective owner is gaining access to all of the facilities and amenities that Garden of Eden has to offer, not to mention the superb beachside location in a salubrious area, all at an entry level and thus affordable price.

St Vlas  is located at the foot of the southern slopes of the Balkan Mountains, in the northern part of Burgas Bay. A settlement was founded at the present place of St Vlas in the 2nd century AD by Thracians and Greeks, then called Larissa. It acquired the name St Vlas in the 14th century after Saint Blaise, a monastery dedicated to whom existed in the region, but was burnt down in the 14th-18th century by consecutive pirate raids. During the Ottoman rule of Bulgaria, it was known as Kücük manastir or simply Manastir ("monastery"), while the name St Vlas became official after 1886. Until 1920 the population of St Vlas was predominantly Greek. After 1920 as a result of the exchange of population between Greece and Bulgaria most of the local Greeks emigrated to Western Thrace (ceded to Greece in 1920) Greece and found their new home in the village of Strymi (until 1920 Chadarli), Sapes municipality. Less than 10 Greek families remained in St Vlas. After 1912 and especially after 1920 tens of Bulgarian families emigrated from Greece, predominantly from Greek Macedonia and established themselves in St Vlas. The settlement became a climatic sea resort in 1963 and a town on 2 February 2006. St Vlas is the only place on the Bulgarian Black Sea coast where the beaches are facing directly south.

St Vlas has grown as a very popular  tourist resort in recent times, serving as a quieter alternative to nearby Sunny Beach. The gap between the two places is shrinking as more hotels and holiday apartments are built along the coast. St Vlas lies at the northern end of a bay which has Sunny Beach in its middle and the ancient town of Nesebar at its southern end. Sunny Beach and Nesebar are easily accessible by bus or taxi, and there are also boats going between St Vlas and Nesebar.

The resort was mainly popular amongst inland Bulgarian tourists, but recently there is rapid growth in the number of foreign tourists, mainly from Russia, but also from  Poland, Romania and Scandinavia. Even though St Vlas was heavily developed in 2000's it remained pretty quiet and calm down place, making it good place to have a rest. Due to that fact the typical visitors in the resort are families with children.
