Distance to Burgas and Varna airports: both airports are offering flights year-round but the Burgas airport is most preferred to Sunny Beach visitors as it is closer to the resort. It is 25.2 kilometres away from complex Blue Summer while the airport of Varna is 103 kilometres away from complex. Since many holiday villages and hotels in Sunny Beach now offer free airport transfers to their guests you batter check for such an option before spending money on taxi services.
The cheapest airport transfer to Complex Blue Summer by taxi would be from the Burgas airport as it is the nearest one and the bill would normally be around 22 Bulgarian Levs which is nearly 10 British pounds. Varna airport is not so close and a taxi from there would cost about 92 BGN (40 GBP). A good practice in Bulgaria is to always ask the taxi driver about the average cost of the entire trip and checking the fares written on the windshield label before getting into the car.
