Property Sales in Bulgaria

Property sales in Bulgaria continued to be led by the demand of Russian Buyers in 2013 and this trend is likely to continue into the foreseeable future.

According to the Russian Ambassador to Bulgaria, Yuriy Isakov over 800,000 Russian tourists will visit Bulgaria by the end of 2013.

Sales continue to be strong on the Black Sea Coast however we have been really pleased with the uplift in the number of sales in Bansko and Pamporovo this year.

While there is an increase in the number of properties sold this year it is important to note that the majority of the properties sold in 2013 did so at a price slightly lower than they would have achieved in 2012. There are a great many reasons for this, greater supply,a weaker pound or owners simply selling for less than they were willing to consider in 2012.

In our opinion, property sales in Bulgaria to Russian buyers will continue to be strong but as long as the huge oversupply exists, prices cannot increase.

At this stage you are probably getting depressed reading this article but please don't be.Your property will recover from its current price of that you can be assured it will just take time. Our job is to give you an honest opinion based on our experience on the ground in Bulgaria. It is by using this experience that we can tell you  the price we feel your property could achieve if you brought it to the market today. Once you have a solid idea as to the price it will achieve you can then make an informed decision about selling or keeping.
